The Android app “PGN Analysis” is used to display and analyze chess games in PGN format and to export data as PDF and CSV files.
The app is designed to avoid collecting, storing or transmitting personal data to the developer or to third parties wherever possible.
3. Processing of files within the app
The app only processes files that the user explicitly selects via the Android file picker. This may include:
- PGN files (Portable Game Notation)
- PDF files generated by the app
- CSV files generated by the app
Processing takes place locally on the user's device. These files are not transmitted to servers operated by the developer.
4. No registration and no user accounts
The app does not require registration or a user account. It does not request names, email addresses, phone numbers or other contact details.
5. No advertising, tracking or analytics
The app does not contain advertising and does not use analytics or tracking services. No usage profiles are created.
6. No transfer of data to third parties
The app does not transmit personal data to the developer or to third parties. In particular, no data is sent to advertising networks, social networks, cloud services, analytics services or external servers operated by the developer.
7. Permissions and file access
The app only accesses files that the user selects or creates. It does not automatically access photos, contacts, location data, camera, microphone or other personal information.
8. PDF and CSV export
PDF and CSV files generated by the app are stored locally on the user's device or shared via Android sharing functions selected by the user. The developer does not receive or access the contents of these files.
9. Children and minors
The app is intended for chess players and does not contain content harmful to minors. It does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
